Oh My God, the Teletubbies Go to War is the penultimate episode of The Amazing Race: All-Stars.
Synopsis[]
The million-dollar prize is within reach for the final four teams and, for the first in race history, two all-female teams vie for spots in the final three.
While in Guam, one Team is overcome by feelings of patriotism while visiting the U.S. military bases. Not even the thrill of zero gravity can stop one Racer from urging the crew of the plane to race faster.[2]
Story[]
Route Markers[]
The order of departure from Trilho da Taipa Pequena 2000 Park are as follows:
- Dustin & Kandice (2:15 am)
- Charla & Mirna (2:50 am)
- Eric & Danielle (3:06 am)
- Oswald & Danny (4:37 am)
Teams must fly to Tamuning, Guam. Upon arrival, teams must drive themselves to Andersen Air Force Base where, due to military concerns, they would be driven by a military escort to the control tower, where they would find their next clue.
Choice A: Care Package
Teams must choose a loading station at a warehouse and fill up a 500-pound package with various humanitarian aid items for a neighboring island. Once complete, teams must then board a C-17 Globemaster and participate in an airdrop training exercise, which would take at least half an hour. When they land, the loadmaster would give them their next clue.
Only Charla & Mirna chose this task.
Choice B: Engine Care
Teams must clean an engine pod on a B-52 bomber. They must scour the associated flap section on the wing of a bomber to the satisfaction of one of the base's sergeants. Once the sergeant is satisfied with their work, a maintenance officer would give their next clue.
Teams must drive themselves to Naval Base Guam, where they would be driven by a military escort to their next clue.
"Who's ready to search far and wide?"
The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock must perform a search and rescue mission. Using a handheld GPS receiver, they must navigate to a jungle and find one of four search and rescue training officers who would provide them with new GPS coordinates directing them to the landing zone, where they would use a radio and a smoke grenade to signal for a helicopter to pick them up and bring them back to the naval base. Once back at the base, they would receive their next clue.
The Roadblock performers per team are underlined:
Teams must drive themselves to Fort Soledad to check in. For coming in first, Dustin & Kandice won an all-terrain vehicle for each member.
