Quit Following Us is the fifth episode of The Amazing Race 6.
Teams make an emotional trek from a small island off the coast of Africa to Berlin, Germany.
Teams leave the Pit Stop in darkness and make their way to a small island, just off the coast of Senegal, where they take part in an emotional ceremony honoring the many slaves that were taken into captivity. After the ceremony, the teams make their way to Berlin. At the Dakar airport, sparks fly between two teams after one team honors an alliance by buying airline tickets for them before they arrive at the airport. And two teams face off in a footrace to the Pit Stop.
The order of departure from Gorée Island are as follows:
Teams must make their way to the Slave House to find their next clue outside of it.
At the Slave House, teams must enter through the doorways and place a single rose as tribute for the people who were sold into slavery. Once they've done so, they will receive their next clue.
Teams must make their way to the Broken Chain Sculpture to find their next clue.
Choice A: Beers
Teams must travel to the Brauhaus Spandau bar. Once there, each team member had to search the tables at the crowded bar for five coasters bearing his or her face and name. They then had to trade two full steins of beer to the patron in exchange for each coaster. Once both team members collected all five of each coaster, they would receive their next clue.
Teams must make their way to Teufelsberg, where they will find their next clue at the base of the mountain.
The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock would have to climb at the top of Teufelsberg and complete a soap box derby course in 37 seconds or less to receive their next clue.
The Roadblock performers per team are underlined:
First Place • Eliminated • Last placer on a Non-Elimination Leg • Season winner • Season 2nd place • Season 3rd place • ► Used the Fast Forward • > Used the Yield • < Recipient of the Yield
