Scared Spitless is the second episode of The Amazing Race 29.

Story[]

Teams travel to Sao Paulo, Brazil where tensions rise between two teams when one goes back on their word.

The order of departure from Cinta Costera Tres are as follows:

Teams must fly to São Paulo, Brazil. Upon arrival, teams must make their way to Helipark Táxi Aéreo e Manutenção Aeronáutica, where they would sign up for a helicopter ride to a Maksoud Plaza. Once they have landed, they must make their way to Praça da Sé, where they would find their next clue.

Choice A: Keep the Beat
Teams must make their way to Rua General Osório, where they must perform a musical routine with a samba group. One team member must learn to play a chocalho, while their partner must learn to play a surdo drum. Once they have performed the routine with the samba group to the satisfaction of the band leader, they would receive their next clue.

Becca & Floyd, Jessie & Francesca, Liz & Michael, London & Logan, and Shamir & Sara chose this task.


Choice B: Work Your Feet
Teams must make their way beneath a marked overpass at Rua Palmorino Mônaco, where they must assemble a rudimentary gym underneath a freeway using provided recyclable materials, with a finished example as reference. Once they have built the gym to the satisfaction of a heavyweight boxer, they would receive their next clue.

Brooke & Scott, Matt & Redmond, Seth & Olive, Tara & Joey, and Vanck & Ashton chose this task.

Teams must make their way to Avenida Paulista and find a woman on a red and yellow bicycle, who would give teams their next clue.

"Who likes things squeaky clean?"

The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock must rappel down the side of the Instituto Cervantes São Paulo while properly washing a marked window along the way. Once the window is cleaned to the satisfaction of a maintenance worker, they would receive their next clue.

Teams must make their way to the "urban jungle", leaving teams to figure out that this referred to to Parque Trianon, to check in.
For coming in first place, Liz & Michael won a trip for two to Barbados, provided by Travelocity.
