Teams must make their way to Prince Phillip Park and search for the Murut Longhouse, where they would find their next clue.
"Who's got a spring in their step?"
The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock must participate in a traditional Lansaran dance, in which they would join a group of locals in bouncing on a bamboo springboard. At the climax of the dance, they must use the springboard to be launched high enough to grab a flag of Sabah positioned above them, which they could then exchange for their next clue. If more than one team was present, each team would be allowed to make three attempts before being required to go to the back of the line.
The Roadblock performers per team are underlined:
Teams must make their way to Kota Kinabalu International Airport, then fly to Kuala Lumpur on one of three provided flights. The first flight could carry the first three teams and is scheduled to depart an hour and a half ahead of the second, which could carry the next two teams. The last flight would carry the last three teams and is scheduled to depart 45 minutes after the second. Upon arrival, teams must make their way to the Jalan Ampang intersection overlooking the Petronas Towers, where they would find their next clue.
Choice A: Mix Master
Teams must make their way to the Skybar at Traders Hotel, where they must learn from a coach how to scratch on a DJ table, with only four practice scratch tables available, and then perform in front of a DJ and a crowd. If they were able to replicate a series of seven record scratches to the DJ's approval, they would receive their next clue. If they could not perform the mix properly, they must go to the back of the line before they are allowed to try again.
Caroline & Jennifer, Flight Time & Big Easy, Jessica & John, and Leo & Jamal chose this task.
Choice B: Master Mix
Teams must make their way to the Skybar at Traders Hotel, where they must stack seven cocktail glasses into a two-tier pyramid, then use a stack of mixing glasses to pour different colorfed cocktails into each glass simultaneously in such a way that none of the cocktails mix. Once they are successful, they must then deliver a tray of cocktails to receive their next clue.
Teams must make their way to the Batu Caves to check in.
For coming in first, Jet & Cord won a trip for two to London, United Kingdom, provided by Travelocity.
For coming in last place, Brendon & Rachel will have to perform a Speed Bump at some point during the next leg of the race.Leaderboard[]
