Route Markers
The order of departure from Pohutu Geyser are as follows:
- Marc & Rovilson (12:46 am)
- Adrian & Collin (2:49 am)
- Natasha & Paula (3:44 am)
- Diane & Ann (3:47 am)
- Daichi & Sawaka (4:04 am)
- Terri & Henry (4:26 am)
- Pamela & Vanessa (5:06 am)
Teams must drive to Auckland, Auckland Region, the fly to Tokyo, Japan. Once there, teams must make their way to Shiba Park in Tokyo, where they will find their next clue.
Teams must find a marked rickshaw and direct it to the Sony Building to find their next clue.
Teams must use a Sony High-Definition Handycam, with one member recording a video of a local singing a traditional Japanese folk song, titled "Sakura Sakura", while the other member sang along with the local, then head back to the Sony Building and play the video on a television. If the song was sung to the correct tune, teams will receive their next clue.
Teams must make their way to Shibuya Mark City and use a provided photo to find a cosplaying girl to receive their next clue.
Choice A: You Catch It
Teams must participate in a traditional game of goldfish scooping and use paddles made of rice paper to scoop up 40 goldfish in a nearby Shibuya restaurant to receive their next clue.

Choice B: You Cart It
Teams must locate a dry cleaner's store and pick up a yukata, which they must deliver on foot to a specific address to receive their next clue.
"Who is cold and calculating?"
The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock must decipher an ice block puzzle in Icebar Tokyo to spell out the name of their next destination, Fukuoka, to receive their next clue. The Roadblock performers per team are underlined:
