The order of departure from Tempozan Park are as follows:
Teams must take a taxi to "the building with a hole in it", leaving teams to figure out that this referred to Umeda Sky Building. Once there, teams must make their way to the Floating Garden, where they would find their next clue.
"Who's ready to go for a tricky ride?"
The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock must become a passenger in a car driven by a professional stunt driver, who would maneuver the vehicle onto a giant teeter-totter and then rock back and forth precariously 25 feet above the ground. Then, the team member would switch into an amphibious vehicle, don a pair of goggles, and while holding their breath, they would be driven underwater for 17 seconds. Once they completed the ride, they would get their next clue.
The Roadblock performers per team are underlined:
After completing the Roadblock at Acrobatics Jeep, TK & Rachel would receive their clue for their Speed Bump. TK & Rachel must travel to travel to Heping Elementary School, put on protective gear, and run through a barrage of fireworks. Once they have completed the run and are doused with water, they may return to Acrobatics Jeep to claim their next clue.
Teams must travel by high-speed rail back to Taipei. Once there, teams must make their way to GK Teahouse and each order a cup of Chinese tea. Once they have finished drinking the tea, the bottom of the cup would contain their next clue written in Chinese.
After translating their next clue, teams must make their way on foot to Gong Guan Night Market and find a clown, who would hand them their next clue.
Choice A: Fire
Teams must make their way to Zhongzheng Park and participate in a mystical Chinese ritual by writing messages of luck, good or bad, on sky lanterns. They must burn "spirit money" under the lanterns, filling them with hot air that would lift the lanterns into the sky and carry their messages to the spirits above. Once a team has sent 20 sky lanterns into the air, they would receive their next clue.
None of the teams chose this task.
All teams chose this task.
Choice B: Earth
Teams must their way to Youth Park and participate in a local custom used to reduce stress. Team members must take off their shoes and, with their bare feet, walk down a 220-foot path made of jagged stones, turn around, and walk back. When they are finished, they would receive their next clue.
