The Amazing Race Wiki

Tell My Mom I Love Her is the ninth episode of The Amazing Race 6.

As teams make their way to Corsica, many struggle to work together, putting them at a disadvantage in the race and making them question their relationships.

Teams face a Roadblock task where they must stomp 55 pounds of grapes into juice, filling five wine bottles. Also, one team member struggles to complete the Fast Forward, putting their lead in jeopardy; and the pressure of the race takes its toll on another team whose relationship falters when they get lost driving to the next clue.[2]

Route Markers[]

The order of departure from Fisherman's Bastion are as follows:

  1. Lori & Bolo (11:12 pm)
  2. Kris & Jon (12:01 am)
  3. Jonathan & Victoria (12:02 am)
  4. Hayden & Aaron (12:06 am)
  5. Adam & Rebecca (12:07 am)
  6. Freddy & Kendra (12:19 am)

Teams must make their way to the Promontor Borudvar winery, and follow the marked path towards the 14,000 gallon wine cask to find their next clue.

Teams must fly to Ajaccio, Corsica, France. Upon arrival, teams must find the birthplace of Napoleon Boneparte at Maison Bonaparte to receive their next clue.

Teams must drive themselves Calvi and find Camp Raffalli, where they will find their next clue.

The Fast Forward instructions were given to teams after finding their clue at Maison Bonaparte. Teams must locate a harbor in Ajaccio and don old-style diving suits weighing more than 100 pounds each. Both team members had to walk across the ocean floor to a lobster trap and retrieve their clue to claim the Fast Forward. Adam & Rebecca won the Fast Forward.

Choice A: Climb Up
Teams must use a mechanical ascender to climb a 45-foot rock wall. Once at the top, they had to find the terrace, where a French legionnaire would give them a medal. After receiving the medal, the teams had to rappel 75 feet down to receive their next clue.

Freddy & Kendra, Hayden & Aaron, Kris & Jon, and Lori & Bolo completed this task.

Choice B: Fly Behind
Teams must choose a Zodiac boat with one member directing the pilot, while the other rode behind on an inflatable raft. They must then search among 25 buoys for one of only 12 with their next clue attached.

Only Jonathan & Victoria completed this task.

Teams must drive to the village of Zilia and find the Domaine d'Alzipratu winery to find their next clue.

"Who's ready to have a barrel of fun?"

The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock must stomp 55 pounds of grapes with their feet. After squeezing out enough juice to fill five wine bottles, they must drink a glass of their juice to receive the next clue.

The Roadblock performers per team are underlined:

Teams must drive themselves to L'Île-Rousse and make their way to La Pietra to check in.

For coming in first, Adam & Rebecca won a vacation to the Caribbean, courtesy of American Airlines.

For coming in last, Hayden & Aaron would have to surrender all of their money, and they would not receive any money at the start of the next leg.
