The order of departure from Sepilok Nature Resort are as follows:
- Reichen & Chip (10:26 pm)
- Jon & Al (12:56 am)
- David & Jeff (1:11 am)
- Kelly & Jon (2:42 am)
Teams must make their way to Puu Jih Shih Temple, where they must search through thousands of Buddha figurines for the one with their name on it. Behind the figurine, they would find a key to a locked rattan bag that contained their next clue.
Teams must take a marked van that would take them to Kota Kinabalu International Airport. Each van can only carry one team and leave 30 minutes apart beginning at 12:00 am. They must then fly to Seoul, South Korea. Upon arrival, they must solve a riddle, leaving them to figure out that they must make their way to N Seoul Tower at Namsan Park, where they would find their next clue.
Teams must make their way to Rafting Korea in Sundam Valley, where they would find their next clue.
The Fast Forward instructions were given to teams at N Seoul Tower. Since no team chose to perform the Fast Forward, its instructions are neither elaborated nor aired.
"Which of you has the colder personality?"
The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock must strip down to their swim wear, then dive into a hole in the ice in the Hantan River, swim under the ice, and exit at another hole nearby. Once their body temperature rose to a safe level, they would receive their next clue.
The Roadblock performers per team are underlined:
Teams must make their way to Station 228 of the Seoul Metropolitan Subway, leaving them to figure out that this referred to Seoul National University station, where they would find their next clue.
Choice A: Strong Hands
Teams must make their way to a marked dojang, where they must each practice a taekwondo method and break three sets of wooden boards with their fists. Once both team members have successfully broken three sets of wooden boards, they would receive their next clue.
David & Jeff, Jon & Al, and Kelly & Jon chose this task.
Choice B: Strong Stomach
Teams must make their way to Haetae Restaurant, where they must each eat a plate of san-nakji, a dish made of raw octopus. Once both team members have finished eating their plate, they would receive their next clue.
Teams must make their way to Gyeongbokgung Palace to check in. For coming in first place, Kelly & Jon won a vacation to the Caribbean, provided by American Airlines Vacations.
