For the previous season with the same subtitle, see The Amazing Race: All-Stars (2007).

The Amazing Race: All-Stars (2014) is the twenty-fourth installment of the reality television series, The Amazing Race. The series was renewed on March 27, 2013 for the 2013–14 TV season. This is the second season to have All-Stars subtitle (Season 11 was the first) and the third to feature players from different seasons. This season premiered on February 23, 2014.

Development

The season began filming on November 16, 2013. The 24th edition of The Amazing Race was decided to be an All-Star edition, and it featured eleven returning teams from past seasons, including seven contestants competing for the third time.

Filming was marred by several production issues. Season 20 contestant Bopper of Bopper & Mark began showing signs of pancreatitis before arriving in Los Angeles for filming and was deemed unfit to compete by the production's medical team upon arrival. To make the last minute adjustment, Mallory of Gary & Mallory was invited to be Bopper's replacement. Bopper & Mark were advertised as a team, with Bopper's replacement intended to be aired as a surprise twist.

The All-Star season travelled through three continents, eight countries, and 22 cities, spanning a distance of 23,000 miles (37,000 km)

Notes:
1: At the Starting Line, Phil announced that Bopper was not able to enter the Race after his doctor dissuaded him to race due to pancreatitis. He was replaced by Mallory Ervin of Gary & Mallory from Seasons 17 and 18, also from Kentucky, to race with his original partner Mark.
2: Several teams got time credit due to production errors and left the pit start of the second leg in a different order than their placements in the previous leg. Margie & Luke departed 3rd, Dave & Connor departed 4th, Joey & Meghan departed 8th, Jessica & John departed 9th and Caroline & Jennifer departed 10th.
3: Jet & Cord decided to give their other Express Pass to Caroline & Jennifer in Leg 2. Caroline & Jennifer later used it to bypass the Roadblock in the same leg.
4: Due to being so far behind the other teams, Margie & Luke were not shown completing the tasks on this leg. This is reflected in the total Roadblock count.
5: Jet & Cord used their Express Pass to elude the Detour.
6: Caroline & Jennifer attempted to U-Turn Brendon & Rachel. However, Brendon & Rachel had already passed the U-Turn Point, and were unaffected.
