The Amazing Race 6 is the sixth season of the reality television show, The Amazing Race. It premiered on November 16, 2004 and ended on February 5, 2005 on CBS.
Synopsis
The next 11 teams ready to globe-trot the world are at the starting gate awaiting the official start of the sixth edition of the Emmy Award-winning THE AMAZING RACE .[1]
Development
The sixth season of The Amazing Race was filmed between August and September 2004 for which they traveled 40,000 miles (64,000 km), spanning 10 different countries in 4 continents. The show moved to Tuesdays at 9 p.m., staying there for 2 more seasons.
American Airlines and Royal Caribbean International were the two official sponsors of the seasons and would provide the prizes awarded to first place teams on certain legs.
