Teams were flown to Samarkand, Uzbekistan, and began the next leg at Samarkand International Airport.
The order of departure from Samarkand International Airport are as follows:
Teams must make their way to Registan Square to find their next clue.
At Registan Square, teams had to eat a loaf of Samarkand non and a side dish of fat called qurdiuq to receive their next clue.
Choice A: Fruit
Teams had to press, bottle and sell pomegranate juice until they earned 200,000 sum (approximately A$25) to receive their next clue.
Brendan & Leni, Lindy & Stella, Luke & Scott, Melissa & Leah, and Steph & Ben chose this task.
Choice B: Veg
Teams had to sort and stack four varieties of vegetables to the specified height so as to recreate a vegetable stall to receive their next clue.
Teams must make their way to Alisher Navoi Central Park Theatre to find their next clue.
At Alisher Navoi Central Park Theatre, teams encountered the Intersection, where two teams must work together until further notice.
The teams that Intersected are as follows:
At Alisher Navoi Centre Park Theatre, the intersected teams must perform an Andijan polka to receive their next clue.
Teams must make their way to Ulugh Beg Observatory to check in.
