The Amazing Race Canada 1 is the first installment of the reality television show, The Amazing Race Canada. It premiered on Monday, July 15, 2013 on CTV in Canada. The show is available on CTV's digital platforms, such as CTV.ca, the CTV mobile app, VOD, TSN, TSN2 and RDS.
The first season has top-tier sponsors, which includes Air Canada, BlackBerry, Interac, and Chevrolet Canada.
In conjunction with the sponsors, the winners received C$500,000 worth of cash and prizes: the opportunity to fly free for a year for two on Air Canada in Executive First Class, two pairs of 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingrays, 250,000 Canadian dollars, and The Amazing Race Canada 1.
On June 5, 2013, CTV announced Jon Montgomery as the host for the first season.
