The Amazing Race Canada 5

The Amazing Race Canada 5 is the fifth installment of the reality television show, The Amazing Race Canada. It was announced on May 4, 2017 by Bell Media.^[1]

Production

There were plans for a leg in Kenya for this season, however the leg was scrapped due to risks on the way to safari locations.^[2]

Notes:
1: Andrea & Ebonie initially arrived in 2nd place, but received a 2-hour penalty for failing to complete the Route Marker task. 5 teams checked in during this time, dropping them to 7th place.
2: Karen & Bert used the Express Pass given to them by Kenneth & Ryan to bypass the Route Marker task on Leg 3.
3: Kenneth & Ryan used their Express Pass to bypass the Detour on Leg 3.
4: Megan & Courtney were eliminated while in possession of the Express Pass given to them on this leg by Kenneth & Ryan.
5: Leg 4 had no mandatory rest period between legs, and all teams were ordered to continue racing. The team who checked in last on this leg did not face a Speed Bump in the next leg.
