The Amazing Race Norge 1

The Amazing Race Norge 1 is first season of the Norweigan version of The Amazing Race. It is produced by TV 2 and the television production company Rubicon TV. The show featured eleven teams of two, with a pre-existing relationship, in a race around the world to win a NOK 500,000 & a Subaru XV for each team member.

The host of the show is soccer player Freddy dos Santos.

Notes: 1: Kenneth & Hakan were the last team to get a clue at the Oslo Airport and were eliminated as per the provisions of the first Leg's rules. 2: Kari & Bjørn initially arrived in 4th place, but were issued a 1-hour penalty for not traveling in an Abra boat from Dubai's Creek to the Gold Souk, 5 teams checked in during the penalty time dropping them to 9th place. 3: Pål Christian & Ivar incurred a 4-hour penalty for quitting the Roadblock. Already in last place, they were eliminated without the penalty being applied. 4: Cathrine & Michelle elected to use the Express Pass to bypass the additional task at the theater in Leg 4. 5: Cathrine & Michelle initially arrived in 1st place, but were issued a 1-hour penalty for knocking over and picking through the thinner side of the ice block instead of it being left upright at the Roadblock. In the hour, 2 teams checked in, ultimately dropping them to 3rd place. 6: Kari & Bjørn incurred a 4-hour penalty for quitting the Handicap. Already in last place, they were eliminated without the penalty being applied. 7: Frank & Ivar arrived last at the Green Bazar during closing time and were unable to buy the ingredients for their final task. They were instructed to wait for Cathrine & Michelle to finish eating and proceeded directly to the Pit Stop where they were eliminated.

First season to only have teams representing Norway.
First season where the Express Pass is not given to the winning team on the first leg.
The water slide challenge in Leg 1 is the exact same challenge used in the sixth leg of the fifteenth season of the American version.
