The Gladiators Are Here! is the seventh episode of The Amazing Race: All-Stars.

The order of departure from Mount Lavinia Hotel Beach are as follows:

Teams must fly to the "Eternal City", leaving teams to figure out that this referred to Rome, Italy. Upon arrival, teams must make their way to Hadrian's Bridge, where they would find their next clue.
At Hadrian's Bridge, Caroline & Jennifer would receive their clue for their Speed Bump. Caroline & Jennifer must make their way to the Pantheon, where they would pick up an antique Olivetti typewriter. They must then search for the building it resembles, which they must figure out referred to the Altare della Patria, known locally as "the Typewriter", and place it on a marked pedestal in front of the monument before they are allowed to continue.
Choice A: Gladiator
Teams must make their way to Parco del Celio, where they must dress up in ancient Roman costume and then learn a series of sword maneuvers to "battle" a seasoned gladiator. Once they have correctly performed the battle sequence with the gladiator consecutively, they would receive their next clue. If teams strayed from the battle sequence they are taught, they would have to start over.
Jessica & John and Leo & Jamal chose this task.
Choice B: Charioteer
Teams must make their way to Parco del Colle Oppio, where they must dress up in ancient Roman costume, then use a radio-controlled chariot, where one team member controls speed and the other controls turning. Once teams have completed five laps around a course within one minute and thirty seconds, indicated by a "fire" going out, they would receive their next clue.
Teams must take a taxi to the "Piazza of John Keats' unhappy Roman holiday", which they must figure out referred to Piazza di Spagna, where they would receive their next clue from a chestnut vendor.
"Who can sum up the Spanish Steps?"
The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock must count the steps of the Spanish Steps, not counting the sidewalk at the bottom, and then add the total to the Roman numerals on the Obelisco Sallustiano in front of the Trinità dei Monti, indicating its year of construction. They must write down their answer in Roman numerals on the back of a postcard they got from the chestnut vendor. Once they have the correct answer, MCMXXIV (1,924), they must show it to a pair of impersonators of Gregory Peck and Audrey Hepburn from Roman Holiday, at the top of the steps, to receive their next clue. If they are wrong, they must go back down to the chestnut vendor to get a new postcard and try again.
The Roadblock performers per team are underlined:
Teams must make their way on foot to "where the race's leg ends, but the Via Flaminia begins", leaving teams to figure out that this referred to the Piazza del Popolo, to check in. For coming in first, Brendon & Rachel won a trip for two to the Great Barrier Reef, provided by Travelocity.

- This episode marks the first time since "Sleep Deprivation Is Really Starting to Irritate Me" in The Amazing Race 9 that a team is eliminated in Italy.
