Story[]

Route Markers[]

The order of departure from the Shenzhen Library Terrace are as follows:

  1. Tyler & Korey
  2. Dana & Matt
  3. Sheri & Cole
None of the teams' departure times were shown in this episode.

Teams must fly to Los Angeles, California, United States. Upon arrival, teams must make their way to Angelus Plaza, where they would find their next clue.

"Who wants to take a leap of faith?"

The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock must choose a safety instructor, then make their way to the rooftop of Angelus Plaza, where they would be tethered from a rappel line and must leap from a height of 130 feet to grab their next clue hanging mid-air. If they fail to obtain their clue, they must rappel back down and go back to the rooftop to try again, but would have their clue moved closer on subsequent attempts.

The Roadblock performers per team are underlined:

Teams must ride a helicopter to the Santa Barbara. Upon arrival, they must make their way to Santa Barbara Harbor and choose a marked dinghy to search for the Theresa Ann in the harbor. Once they have found the boat, the fisherman onboard would give them their next clue.

Teams must make their way up Gibraltar Rock, where they would find their next clue.

Teams must take part in synchronized mountaineering across Rattlesnake Canyon. One member must horizontally traverse across the canyon to retrieve one half of the clue, which would cause their partner to simultaneously descend down the face of a cliff to retrieve the other half. Once they have returned to their starting points, they can piece the two halves together to read their next clue.

Teams must make their way to the Grassini Family Vineyards, where they would find their next clue.

"Who wants to roll out the barrels?"

The team member who sat out of the previous Roadblock must arrange a set wine barrel lids, which featured hashtags printed on their Clues in previous legs, then spell out the names of the cities that each hashtag referred to, in chronological order:

Once they have correctly arranged the wine barrel lids, they would receive their next clue.

The Roadblock performers per team are underlined:

Teams must cross the lake at the vineyard to cross the Finish Line.
