Teams must fly to Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia. Once there, teams must travel to Monsopiad Cultural Village in Penampang to receive a Malaysian good luck blessing before receiving their next clue.

The Fast Forward instructions were given to teams after receiving their clue at Monsopiad Cultural Village. The instructions for the Fast Forward are unknown as no teams were shown performing the task.

Teams must travel to Kota Kinabalu Boat Jetty and take a marked boat to a fishing vessel, where they will receive their next clue.

Choice A: Net
Teams must head to a marked fishing platform and use nets to catch fish out of a marked pen. The fish are fairly small and move quickly, making them difficult to catch. Once they have 15, they will receive their next clue.

David & Jeff, Kelly & Jon, and Millie & Chuck chose this task.

Choice B: Trap
Teams must board a nearby lobster trawler, where they would have to pull up an extremely heavy weighted lobster trap. Their next clue could be found inside.

Jon & Al and Reichen & Chip chose this task.

Teams must make their way to Manukan Island and find their route marker.

"Whose skills are the most on target?"

The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock must use three traditional Malaysian weapons to hit three targets. They must hit a wooden target with a bow and arrow, a hanging piece of fruit with a blowpipe, and then another wooden target with a spear. Once they have completed all three, they can race down the beach to check in at the Pit Stop.
