Route Markers[]

The order of departure from Misibis Bay Resort and Casino are as follows:

  1. Richard & Richard (4:48 am)
  2. Claire & Michelle (4:49 am)
  3. Dimple & Sunaina (4:58 am)
  4. Lani & Jess (5:07 am)
  5. Hilda & Ivan (5:16 am)
  6. Hussein & Natasha (6:22 am)
  7. Khairie & Ethan (6:40 am)
For coming in first place in the previous leg, Khairie & Ethan were given a helicopter ride directly to Legazpi Airport in Legazpi after all other teams had departed.

Teams must fly to Invercargill, Southland, New Zealand. Once there, teams must search the parking lot at Invercargill Airport for a marked campervan to find their next clue.

Teams must drive their campervan to Te Anau and find a local fisherman who will give them their next clue.

Teams must drive to Pillan's Paddock in Kingston, Otago, and saw five slabs from a log together, then individually saw two slabs each to receive their next clue.

Choice A: Plunge
Teams must bungee jump from Nevis Highwire Platform 134 meters over Nevis Valley to receive their next clue.

Dimple & Sunaina, Khairie & Ethan, and Richard & Richard chose this task.


Choice B: Swing
Teams must sit side by side and swing from Nevis Highwire Platform 500 meters over Nevis Valley receive their next clue.

Claire & Michelle, Hilda & Ivan, Hussein & Natasha, and Lani & Jess chose this task.

After completing the Detour at Nevis Highwire Platform, teams would have the option to U-Turn a team. Claire & Michelle used the U-Turn on Dimple & Sunaina. Since Dimple & Sunaina completed the Plunge Detour, they would be forced to backtrack and complete the Swing Detour before continuing.

Teams must drive to Queenstown Events Centre in Queenstown, where they must make a touchdown against a team of three rugby union players, some of whom were former players for the New Zealand national rugby union team, then score a goal to receive their next clue. Teams who failed to score a goal within 10 attempts would incur a ten-minute penalty before being allowed to proceed.

"Who will come to the rescue?"

The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock must use an avalanche transceiver to find an object hidden in the snow at Coronet Peak to receive their next clue. The Roadblock performers per team are underlined:

Teams must ride a 4x4 to the top of Coronet Peak to check in. For coming in first, Richard & Richard won a four-day, three-night trip to the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.
