"Who likes animals?"
The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock must step into a snake pit and make their way through an enclosure filled with Indonesia's largest snakes, second in size only to the anaconda, to retrieve a clue from the center of the snake pit, within a two-minute time limit. The Roadblock performers per team are underlined:
Teams must make their way to West Sumatra Pavilion and perform a traditional Minangkabau plate dance called the tari piring. Once they have performed the plate dance correctly, teams can get their next clue.
The Fast Forward instructions were given to teams after completing the Roadblock at Kebun Binatang Ragunan. Teams must head to SMA Negeri 60 Jakarta and search among 50 students with Sony Walkman MP3 players in the courtyard to find one with the correct message. Once they have found the Walkman with the correct message, they can claim the Fast Forward. Sahil & Prashant won the Fast Forward.
Choice A: Push
Teams must push a bakso cart 500 meters along a marked course, without spilling the bowl of soy sauce inside, and while singing the traditional Indonesian children's song, "Abang Tukang Bakso", to receive their next clue.
Andrew & Syeon, Andy & Laura, Ernie & Jeena, Howard & Sahran, Jacqueline & Aubrey, Marsio & Mardy, Melody & Sharon, and Sandy & Francesca chose this task.
Choice B: Sell
Teams must prepare and sell 15 bowls of bakso, each with a minimum selling price of Rp 2,000, to receive their next clue. Teams may eat the bowls of bakso that they do not sell.
Teams must make their way to the National Monument to check in.
