Leg 11

The order of departure from Chalet Gädi are as follows:

  1. Flight Time & Big Easy (7:12 am)
  2. Kisha & Jen (7:15 am)
  3. Gary & Mallory (7:18 am)
  4. Zev & Justin (7:31 am)

Teams must fly to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Upon arrival, teams must take the Santa Teresa Tram to the top of the Carioca Aqueduct before disembarking and making their way to Escadaria Selarón. There, they must search the tile-covered steps for a Route Info tile that will have their next clue written on the back.

Teams must make their way to Largo de São Francisco da Prainha, then search the area near Rua Sacadura Cabral to find their next clue.

"Who's not afraid of shaking in their boots?"

The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock must participate in a Rio Carnival parade. After putting on special costumes, they must learn the samba and then lead a parade of dancers. If the Carnival Princess approved their dance, they would receive their next clue. If not, they would be sent back to relearn the dance and try again.

The Roadblock performers per team are underlined:

Teams must take a taxi to Centro de Orientação Profissional Salon, where they would find their next clue.

Teams must undergo a Brazilian body waxing session for 15 minutes. Once the time is up, the beauticians would give teams their next clue.

Choice A: On the Rocks
Teams must make their way to the Espaço OX bar on Avenida Atlântica near Leme Beach, where they would learn to make caipirinhas. Once they have made 100 proper caipirinhas, they would receive their next clue.

All teams chose this task.


Choice B: On the Beach
Teams must make their way to Copacabana Beach, where they must pick up an umbrella loaded with bikinis and a mobile changing station and sell the bikinis to people on the beach. They must convince buyers to change into the bikinis in the mobile changing station. Once teams have earned R$100, they would receive their next clue.

None of the teams chose this task.

Teams must make their way to Praia de Boa Viagem overlooking the Niterói Contemporary Art Museum to check in.
For coming in first place, Gary & Mallory won a cruise for two on the Mediterranean Sea with visits to Rome and Casablanca, provided by Travelocity.

Leg 12

The order of departure from the Niterói Contemporary Art Museum are as follows:

  1. Gary & Mallory (8:54 am)
  2. Kisha & Jen (9:05 am)
  3. Flight Time & Big Easy (9:29 am)

Teams must fly to Miami, Florida, United States. Upon arrival, teams must make their way to Rickenbacker Marina, where they would find their next clue.

"Who's confident about handling a boat?"

The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock must learn how to operate a heavy load forklift to move a boat into dry dock without dropping the boat. Once the boat is successfully moved, teams would receive their next clue from the forklift operator.

Teams must make their way to Jules' Undersea Lodge in Key Largo to find their next clue.

"You're going on a treasure hunt."

The team member who sat out of the previous Roadblock must use a BOBdive submersible to search the lagoon of the Jules' Undersea Lodge for one of several floating treasure chests that contained their next clue, while being surrounded by distracting mermaid divers who were swimming around them and playing music.

The Roadblock performers per team are underlined:

Teams are given a riddle, leaving teams to figure out that this referred to the seacamp near Mile Marker 29 on Big Pine Key, where they would find their next clue.

Teams must walk across a shallow portion of the Gulf of Mexico to Horseshoe Island and search for the island's tallest tree to find their next clue underneath.

Teams must walk back to Big Pine Key, where they would take a speedboat to the Galway Bay Mobile Home Park in Marathon, where they would find their next clue.

Teams must set up a travel trailer as it appeared in a provided brochure for Galway Bay. Once the trailer is set up according to the example in the brochure, teams would receive their next clue.

Teams must take a taxi to Old Seven Mile Bridge, then ride tricycles along the bridge to Pigeon Key Historic District to cross the Finish Line.
