This Seems Like the Path Straight to Hell! is the second episode of The Amazing Race 3.
Synopsis[]
Teams endure a treacherous bus ride from Mexico City to Tulum, a Caribbean paradise on the east coast of Mexico.
A car collides with a bus full of teams, sending them scrambling to deal with the aftermath, and two teams wipeout on waverunners. One couple with an uncertain future argues over priorities and who in the team carries the power and a magical swim with dolphins isn't so magical for a couple of teammates.[2]

Teams must drive themselves to Teotihuacan and find the Pyramid of the Sun along the Avenue of the Dead, then climb 248 steps to the top of the pyramid to retrieve their next clue.
The Fast Forward instructions were given to teams at the Pit Start. Teams must make their way to the National Museum of Anthropology, where they must join a group of performers called the Voladores of Papantla. Both team members must climb a 100 ft (30 m) pole and swing around the pole while suspended on ropes by their feet to claim the Fast Forward pass. Derek & Drew won the Fast Forward.
Teams must make their way to the Terminal de Autobuses de Pasajeros de Oriente bus station in Mexico City, then take a bus to Cancún. Once there, they must make their way to the San Mariano Marina, where they would find their next clue.
Choice A: Man Power
Teams must, using a provided map as reference, kayak around a small, marked area of Nichupte Lagoon in search of their next clue, which was hanging from a tree.
Ken & Gerard and Michael & Kathy chose this task.
Choice B: Horse Power
Teams must, using a provided map as reference, ride a WaveRunner around a large, marked area of Nichupte Lagoon in search of their next clue, which was floating on a marked buoy.
Teams must ride their kayak or their WaveRunner to Las Velas Beach Club Marina, then drive themselves to Calle 3 Sur at Playa del Carmen, where they must take a ferry to the island of Cozumel. Once there, they must make their way to Chankanaab Park, where they would find their next clue.
"That person should be ready for the swim of a lifetime."
The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock must put on goggles, jump into the park's dolphin pen, and swim with a family of dolphins while searching for the next clue at the bottom of the pen.

Teams must take a ferry back to Playa del Carmen, then drive themselves to the Diamante K Bungalows in Tulum to check in.
