Toni & Dallas

Anttoni "Toni" Imbimbo and Dallas Remo Imbimbo are a Mother/Son team on The Amazing Race 13.

Compared to most of the loud personalities of their competitors, Toni & Dallas were a more quiet, but effective team that finished in the top half of the pack in most of the legs they competed in, allowing them to make it to the final four. Dallas spent much of the season flirting with Starr, a relationship that was complicated by him and his mother being Nick & Starr's biggest threat towards the end of the race. However, while doing the Roadblock in the penultimate leg, Dallas accidentally left their fanny pack, containing all their money and his passport, on the floor of his cab, crippling his team to the point of having to beg to get around Moscow to complete the Detour. This error proved to be fatal, as it left them too far behind the other teams, eliminating them in 4th place.

Toni and Dallas have always been there for each other and will let nothing come between them. They are hoping the Race will provide them with some quality family time they've been missing out on since Dallas has been away at college - and maybe even a million dollars.

As a single mother, Toni sacrificed quite a bit to give Dallas a great childhood. Now Dallas is in college and living on his own.

Dallas can be very persuasive and enjoys getting people to do what he wants. His pet peeve about his Teammate is that she tells very long-winded stories. He describes himself as outgoing, persistent and passionate.

Toni considers herself a leader, but knows that she'll need to lean on her son a bit more by relying on Dallas's strengths rather than telling him what to do. Her biggest accomplishment has been raising her son. She currently works for herself as a corporate accounting consultant.

With Dallas's constant flirting and sarcasm and Toni's laughter and personality, they are sure to be one of the most entertaining Teams on the Race.^[1]

Notes: 1: Toni & Dallas were initially denied their clue at the Detour starting point for taking the metro instead of a taxi and were required to go back to the end of the Roadblock and return to the Detour starting point via taxi. Later, when all the other teams had checked in at the Pit Stop, host Phil Keoghan came to Rizhskaya station and eliminated them while they were still performing the Ride the Lines Detour.

Post-Race[]

Dallas dated fellow The Amazing Race 13 contestant Starr Spangler after the race ended.
- They eventually broke up due to the long-distance.
Dallas is now the CEO of BigRentz.^[2]
Toni has since married.^[3]
In 2016, Dallas proposed to his girlfriend.^[4]

Trivia[]

Toni & Dallas are the first mother/child team to win a leg.
The only team on The Amazing Race 13 that won a leg to not win multiple legs.
- They are also the only team on The Amazing Race 13 to win a leg and not be in the final three.
Toni & Dallas are the first co-ed team to be eliminated outside the Pit Stop in the American version.
Due to Dallas losing his passport in the taxi during the leg in which they were eliminated, Toni & Dallas were not present at the Finish Line. As it turns out Dallas revealed that was partly caused of changing microphone battery by production. The passport was turned over to the U.S. Embassy in Moscow.
- However, they were still able to attend the after-party.
