Story[]
Teams continue the megaleg in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, where they must choose between detours that get them ready for a fiesta.

Teams must make their way on foot to La Iguana Bridge, where they would find their next clue.
Choice A: Balloon Collection
Teams must find three balloon vendors scattered across Isla Cuale, and each obtain a bundle of colored balloons from them. Once each team member has obtained a bundle of balloons in red, purple, and yellow, they must deliver their balloons to the Isla Cuale plaza and exchange them with the balloon vendor for their next clue.
Amber & Vinny, Angie & Danny, Anthony & Bailey, Chris & Mary, Derek & Shelisa, Juan & Shane, Kishori & Karishma, Michelle & Sean, Ricky & Cesar, Rod & Leticia, and Yvonne & Melissa chose this task.
Choice B: Color Correction
Teams must make their way on foot to the Isla Cuale plaza, where they must search among hundreds of strands of papel picado for one of twelve strands that followed an incorrect 10-color pattern and replace it with a correct papel picado strand. They may then exchange the incorrect strand with the party planner for their next clue.
Teams must make their way on foot to Lázaro Cárdenas Park, where they would find their next clue.
"Who has a skeleton in the closet?"
The team member assigned to this Roadblock must, following a provided photo as reference, paint a Day of the Dead calavera design onto their partner's face to a judge's satisfaction to receive their next clue.

Teams must each don monarch butterfly wings, then make their way on foot to "under the bridge that connects Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton's houses", leaving teams to figure out that this referred to Casa Kimberly, to check in.
