Mathew Tyler Oakley and Korey Kuhl are a team of Best Friends on The Amazing Race 28 and The Amazing Race 31.
Tyler & Korey immediately emerged as threats The Amazing Race 28, regularly placing near the top of the pack while developing a rivalry with Brodie & Kurt, while also having a close working relationship with Dana & Matt, with the two teams working together on several occasions. Although they sometimes got sidetracked whenever Tyler opted to flirt with the locals, their competitiveness and strategic thinking led to them using the U-Turn to knock Brodie & Kurt out of the race, making them the most dominant team to make it to the final three. In the final leg, they fell to last place early after Tyler failed to complete the first Roadblock on his first attempt, forcing them to play catch up throughout the leg. They then got a taxi driver whom they could not effectively communicate with, leaving them to finish in 3rd place.
In The Amazing Race 31, Tyler & Korey again proved themselves to be a formidable team, regularly placing near the top of the pack, forging strong social connections that generally kept them from being targeted, and working together cohesively to win four legs on their way to reaching the final three yet again. In the final leg, Tyler & Korey raced neck-and-neck with Colin & Christie, with the two teams trading the lead multiple times throughout the leg. Ultimately, Tyler & Korey would fall short after missing several key details at the final task that cost them time, coming in 2nd place.
