Vladimir and Irina Vasylenko are the most touching team of "Velyki Perehony". Back at the casting, Vladimir Vasylenko impressed everyone not so much with his age - the oldest participant of the show is 72 years old - as with his ability to enjoy life. At the age of 70, he went abroad for the first time in his life - and since then he has been fascinated by travel.

Irina is a professional translator from English, and Vladimir worked as an engineer. He not only skillfully drives his old "Moskvich", but also has excellent physical shape, because every morning he runs several kilometers and plays volleyball for many years in a row.

Vladimir and Irina proved that it is possible to overcome difficult stages - and at the same time be polite and balanced.

"We are a perfect team. I am an experienced traveler and translator, and my dad has invaluable life experience, and he is a very good driver," says Irina.

The team is convinced that at any age a person should live a full life, play sports and not be afraid of adventure.

Notes: 1: Vladimir & Irina initially arrived 9th, but were issued a 4-hour penalty as a result of Vladimir quitting the roadblock. During this time, Alexey & Olena,– the only team trailing them at that point – arrived and was issued an 1-hour penalty for Olena's failure to complete the Roadblock before dusk. As Alexey & Olena had the smaller penalty, they were allowed to check in for a 9th place finish while Vladimir & Irina were eliminated.
