We're Going Down the Wrong Side of the Freeway...And the Lights Are Off! is the seventh episode of The Amazing Race 4.

The order of departure from the Gateway of India are as follows:

David & Jeff (12:51 am)
Reichen & Chip (12:52 am)
Kelly & Jon (1:19 am)
Millie & Chuck (1:34 am)
Tian & Jaree (1:36 am)
Jon & Al (1:37 am)

Teams must travel by train from Panvel Station in Panvel to Ernakulam Junction in Kochi. Once there, teams must travel along National Highway 47 to find a marked billboard, where their next route marker is located.

Teams must travel to Alleppey and find the Sports Field by the Pallathuruthy bridge to find their next clue.

The Fast Forward instructions were given to teams after finding their clue on National Highway 47. The instructions for the Fast Forward are unknown as no teams were shown preforming the task.

"Who can put up a lot of bull?"

The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock had to take part in bull racing. They must hang onto a harness hooked up to two bulls and would have to continue holding on while the bulls dragged them through the mud course the length of a football field. If they did not let go at any point, they would receive their next clue.

Teams must make their way to Beach Road and find their route marker.

Choice A: Baskets
Teams must load 10 live chickens into baskets and then attach those to a bicycle-powered wagon. They would have to pedal across town to find Geogi's Chicken Farm that was encircled on a map. After delivering their 10 chickens, they would get their next clue.

Only Reichen & Chip chose this task.

Choice B: Trunks
Teams would have to load two coir bales onto an elephant and deliver them to Noushad's Coir Shop encircled on a map. After delivering their bales, they would get their next clue.

David & Jeff, Jon & Al, Kelly & Jon, Millie & Chuck, and Tian & Jaree chose this task.

Teams must make their way to Punnamada Lake and find the Finishing Point to check in. For coming in first, David & Jeff won a seven-night cruise vacation to the Western Caribbean on Royal Caribbean.
