We're Only Doing Freaky Stuff Today is the fifth episode of The Amazing Race 28.

Story

Route Markers

The order of departure from the Place du Triangle de l'Amitié are as follows:

Zach & Rachel's, Erin & Joslyn's, Sheri & Cole's, and Scott & Blair's departure times were not shown on-screen.

Teams must search for one of eight cars with the license plate number; DS 453 FW, DS 640 KR, DS 312 KR, DS 141 GG, DS 100 KR, DS 526 KR, DS 390 KR, or DS 155 KR. Once they find a car, teams must have drive them to Les Grands Motets Gondola Station to find their next clue.

Teams must take two sets of mountain gear and a mountain guide, and then take the gondola to the summit of Mont Blanc, where they will find their next clue, attached to the side of a cliff. Only two teams can be on the gondola at a time.

Choice A: Dynamite
Teams must take a bundle of dynamite and two baguettes to workers of Mont Blanc. who use the dynamite to prevent the accumulation of snow on the mountain to receive their next clue.

Brodie & Kurt, Dana & Matt, Erin & Joslyn, Scott & Blair, Sheri & Cole, Tyler & Korey, and Zach & Rachel chose this task.

Choice B: Campsite
Teams must set up a campsite to their attendant's satisfaction to receive their next clue.

Only Burnie & Ashley chose this task.

Teams must have their drive take them to the Planpraz Gondola Station to find their next clue.

The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock would have to tandem paraglide with an experienced instructor from 7,000 ft. over the mountain and spot a yeti waving the French flag. Once they've landed they must correctly tell a mountain watcher what they have seen to receive their next clue.

Teams must have their driver take them to the Michel-Gabriel Paccard Statue to check in. For coming in first place, Tyler & Korey won a trip for two to the Philippines, provided by Travelocity.
