We Got a Gnome! We Got a Gnome! is the tenth episode of The Amazing Race 7.

Synopsis

One team re-examines the status of their relationship.

One duo's bickering fuels a much deeper discussion about commitment and the state of their relationship. Two teams are confident they are ahead of two lagging Teams, but face a harsh reality when they learn they are the ones pulling up the rear. One team's hard-fought lead is jeopardized when they have a hard time completing a task. Will this delay cost them the Race?[2]

Story

Route Markers

The order of departure from Jaswant Thada are as follows:

  1. Uchenna & Joyce (11:24 pm)
  2. Ron & Kelly (11:26 pm)
  3. Rob & Amber (11:26 pm)
  4. Meredith & Gretchen (11:33 pm)

Teams must fly to Istanbul, Turkey. Upon arrival, teams must take a train and ferry to Kız Kulesi to find their next clue.

Teams must find a Travelocity roaming gnome around Kiz Kulesi and carry the gnome for the remainder of the leg. Once teams have found a gnome, they can make their way to Galata Kulesi to find their next clue.

Choice A: Columns
Teams must travel to Binbirdirek Cistern and find four columns on a grid using a provided map with coordinates. On the columns were numbers, which they must use to unlock a padlocked box which contained their next clue.

Only Ron & Kelly chose this task.

Choice B: Kilos
Teams must travel to the Yeni Mosque, located at the old Jewish quarter of Eminönü, and find a man with a box of scales. Using a scale, teams would have to weigh enough people on the street until they reached a total of 2,500 kilograms (5,500 lbs).
