What a Gaucho You Are! is the fourth episode of The Amazing Race 7.

Synopsis

Several teams plot to make up for a time penalty in the previous leg.

Several teams scramble to recover from a four-hour penalty to catch up with the front-running teams. Meanwhile, one Racer is thrown from a very stubborn horse while trying to complete a Roadblock and another Racer is driven to tears as an unsupportive teammate provokes them from the sidelines.

Teams must drive themselves to Lunlunta and find Cabaña La Guatana to find their next clue.

"Who's ready to horse around?"

The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock must go through a traditional gaucho challenge. They must ride a horse through a barrel racing course, then use a stick to spear a ring at the end of the course in less than 40 seconds. Once successful, teams would receive their next clue.

Teams must drive to Governor Francisco Gabrielli International Airport in Mendoza and fly to Buenos Aries on one of two provided flights, one leaving at 9:30 am, the second at 2:30 pm. Once in Buenos Aires, teams must find the English Clock Tower and find a man in a raincoat to receive their next clue.

Teams must take a train to Tigre and make their way to the docks to find their next clue.

Choice A: Shipwreck
Teams must use a 30-year-old picture as a reference to find an abandoned ship within a seven square mile area to receive their next clue.

Brian & Greg and Rob & Amber chose this task.

Choice B: Island
Teams must use a provided map to travel four miles up the San Antonio River and find a marked island to find their next clue.

Lynn & Alex, Meredith & Gretchen, Ray & Deana, Ron & Kelly, Susan & Patrick, and Uchenna & Joyce chose this task.

Teams must return to shore and take a taxi to La Martina Polo Ranch to check in. For coming in first, Rob & Amber won a trip to London, staying five nights at the Landmark hotel, courtesy of Travelocity.
