"Who's smokin' hot?"
The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock must properly hang two racks of lamb and one rack of beef ribs onto a set of metal grills to cook the meat asado-style. Once the meats are secured on all sides, skewered properly, with the bones oriented in the correct direction, the gaucho would give them their next clue.
The Roadblock performers per team are underlined:
Teams must take a rack of roasted lamb, load it onto their pick-up truck, and deliver it to a festival at Plaza Principal in exchange for their next clue.
Choice A: Horse
Teams must pick a polo mallet from the plaza, then make their way on foot to Boliche de Bessonart to change into polo gear. They must then make their way on foot to Bailes Park and pick out a fake horse that they must tack properly, following a finished example. Once the judge has approved of their work, they must push the horse back to the plaza to receive their next clue from a group of gauchos after presenting their polo stick. Only six workstations are available at a time.
Denise & James Earl, Jazmine & Danielle, Justin & Diana, Kelsey & Joey, Logan & Chris, and Tanner & Josh chose this task.
Choice B: Carriage
Teams must pick a buggy whip from the plaza, then make their way on foot to La Cinacina Estancia. They must change into gaucho clothing, dust a carriage to the judge's satisfaction, then push the carriage to a team of waiting horses at Bailes Park. Once the horses are harnessed to the buggy, they must ride it back to the plaza to receive their next clue from a group of gauchos after presenting their buggy whip. Only six workstations are available at a time.
Teams must make their way on foot to Museo Gauchesco to check in.
For coming in first place, Tanner & Josh won a trip for two to Siem Reap, Cambodia, provided by Travelocity.
