Teams must drive themselves to Kandersteg railway station in Kandersteg, then take a car train to Goppenstein. They must then drive themselves to the Red Bridge at Val d'Anniviers, where they would find their next clue.

The Fast Forward instructions were given to teams at Gletscherschlucht gorge. Teams must drive themselves to Saxeten and find a marked cheese-making cabin where they would find a cheese wheel divided into hundreds of cubes. They must eat enough cubes of cheese until they have completely revealed their next clue hidden underneath to claim the Fast Forward pass. John Vito & Jill won the Fast Forward.

Choice A: Extreme Swiss
Teams must cross the narrow Red Bridge, where both members must bungee jump 620 feet (190 m) into the gorge below, the largest bungee jump in Europe. Once both team members have successfully bungee jumped, they would receive their next clue.

Only Derek & Drew chose this task.

Choice B: Very Swiss
Teams must drive themselves 8 miles (13 km) to a nearby farm in Saint-Jean, where they must chase after a herd of 75 goats to find one of only of five that had a key inside the bell on its collar. Once they have found a key, they could use it to open a box that contained their next clue.

Flo & Zach, Ken & Gerard, and Teri & Ian chose this task.

Teams must drive themselves to Château de Chillon, where they would find their next clue. Before leaving, teams may use a provided T-Mobile phone to call their loved ones back home, but must complete the call before heading inside their car.

"That person should be a nuts and bolts kind of person."

The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock must assemble a Swiss army bicycle from a pile of provided parts, following a finished example as reference. Once the expert is satisfied that the bicycle has been properly assembled and safe to ride, he would give teams their next clue.

The Roadblock performers per team are underlined:

Teams must make their way to the Jet d'Eau in Geneva, where they would find their next clue.

Teams must fly to the city where the Petronas Towers are located, in the country represented by a small unidentified flag provided in their clue (Malaysia), leaving them to figure out that this was the flag of Malaysia and that the Petronas Towers are located in Kuala Lumpur. Upon arrival, they must make their way to the base of the Petronas Towers, where they would find their next clue.

Teams must take a train to Singapore. There, they would find Singaporean actor Gurmit Singh, who would give them their next clue.

Flo & Zach, John Vito & Jill, and Ken & Gerard chose this task.

Choice B: Wet

There, they must each don a wetsuit, then swim to the other side of the enclosure to retrieve their next clue.

Derek & Drew and Teri & Ian chose this task.
