Story
Route Markers
The order of departure from Fort Manoel are as follows:
- Adam & Bethany (9:25 pm)
- Misti & Jim (10:07 pm)
- Kym & Alli (10:50 pm)
- Amy & Maya
- Brooke & Robbie (1:07 am)
Teams must fly to Singapore. Upon arrival, teams must travel by taxi to Changi Village, where they will take a ferry to Pulau Ubin and search for the marked coconut stand. Once both team members have finished drinking coconut milk from a coconut, they will receive their next clue. In addition, due to limited flights, teams are given a set of prearranged tickets to Paris, where they will then need to make arrangements to Singapore, however teams are under no obligation to use them if they find a better flight.
The Fast Forward instructions were given to them after receiving their clue at Pulau Ubin coconut stand. Teams would have to travel to Sentosa's WaveHouse and surf for two minutes to keep their balance without falling on an artificially-generated wave. If they can both stay on their surfboards for two minutes, they will win the Fast Forward. Adam & Bethany won the Fast Forward.
Teams must travel by taxi to Marina Bay Sands and go to the 53rd floor to find their next clue.
The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock would have to tightrope walk between the 57th floor of Marina Bay Sands hotel to the second tower of the hotel. Once they cross to the other tower and pick up their clue, they have to return to their teammate at the original tower before they can continue racing.
The Roadblock performers per team are underlined:
Teams must travel by taxi to Raffles Place at Centre Square to and search for a man with a board with "Onward Singapore" to receive their next clue.
Choice A: China Cups
Teams would have to travel to the Hong San See temple where they have to undergo a session of cupping therapy. After a painful back massage, scraping the skin, and then fire cupping, all of which are said to increase blood flow and remove toxins, teams will receive their next clue from their masseuses.
Amy & Maya, Brooke & Robbie, and Kym & Alli chose this task.
Choice B: Chilli Crabs
Teams would have to travel to the Red House seafood restaurant at The Quayside where they have to work on Singapore's most popular dish of chilli crab. Teams have to crack open enough crab claws smothered in chilli sauce to collect the crabmeat. Once teams have 2 pounds, the head chef will give them their next clue.
Teams must travel by taxi to Fort Canning to find their next clue.
At Hinterdorf, teams would have the option to U-Turn a team, with two slots available. Amy & Maya attempted used the first slot of the U-Turn on Adam & Bethany, however Adam & Bethany won the Fast Forward, thus having no effect on them. The second slot went unused.
Teams must search for the correct merlion with their next clue. There are a total of five merlion statues in Singapore, two at Merlion Park, one at Sentosa, one at Tourism Court, and one at Mount Faber, with the merlion statue at Mount Faber being the correct statue.
Teams must travel by taxi to Collyer Quay to check in. For coming in first place, Adam & Bethany won a trip for two to Bali, Indonesia, provided by Travelocity.
