You're the Best French Fry Ever is the second episode of The Amazing Race 30.

The order of departure from Reykjavíkürtjorn are as follows:

Only Kristi & Jen, Cody & Jessica, and Henry & Evan's departure times were shown. The other seven teams' departure times are unknown.

Teams must fly to Amsterdam, Netherlands, then take a train to Antwerp, Belgium. Due to the limited number of flights out of Reykjavík, teams are given tickets to Amsterdam. However, they are not obligated to use them and may look for another itinerary.^[2] Upon arrival, teams must make their way to The Chocolate Line at Paleis op de Meir, where a chocolatier would give them their next clue.

"Who's ready to get high?"

The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock must climb 100 feet up the SkyClimb, a set of ladders suspended from a tall crane. They must climb to the top of a free hanging ladder, while the crane raised the structure upwards, to retrieve their next clue. Only four ladders are available at a time.

Choice A: Old Print
Teams must make their way to the Plantin-Moretus Museum, where they must arrange moveable type pieces following an example printed on a provided card, to print out a message, keeping in mind that the pieces needed to be arranged in a mirror image. They must then use a printing press to print out the message and, if printed exactly like the provided card, would be given the message as their next clue.

Choice B: Diamond Glint
Teams must make their way to Antwerpsche Diamantkring in the Antwerp diamond district, where they must calculate the value three different diamonds based on their carat, color, and clarity, then add the total of the diamonds to that of an unfinished necklace. If their calculation matched the actual value of the necklace, they would receive their next clue.

Alex & Conor, April & Sarah, Eric & Daniel, Joey & Tim, and Trevor & Chris chose this task.

Teams must figure out that the message they received after completing either Detour, written in Dutch, instructed them to make their way to "where you will find the town hall and the Silvius Brabo", leaving teams to figure out that this referred to the Brabo Fountain in front of Antwerp City Hall at Grote Markt, where they would find their next clue.

Teams must wear French fry costumes and compete against each other in a Frietrace. One member of each team must steer a dolly with eight bags of French fries around an obstacle course, with any bags that fall off having to be retrieved before they can continue on the course. The team that wins the heat may check in to the nearby Pit Stop, while the team that loses must then wait for another team to compete against. Team members can switch between races. The team that loses the final heat will be eliminated.
