You Deal With This Before I Hyperventilate is the penultimate episode of The Amazing Race 6.

Synopsis

Some teams begin lashing out at each other as the stress of reaching the end of the race begins to weigh on their minds.

Four teams set out from Sri Lanka and immediately make their way to Shanghai. In the middle of the night, one team gets lost in the streets and the stress of being lost causes tensions to rise between the two of them. Also, another team's taxi driver misleads them, which could end up being a costly mistake.

The order of departure from Hotel Sigiriya are as follows:

1. Kris & Jon (11:59 pm)
2. Hayden & Aaron (12:04 am)
3. Freddy & Kendra (12:05 am)
4. Adam & Rebecca (12:06 am)

Teams must fly to Shanghai, China. Upon arrival, they must make their way to the Yuyuan Garden and search the grounds for their next clue.

Teams must make their way to Huaneng Union Tower to find their next clue.

At Huaneng Union Tower, teams would have the option to Yield a team. Freddy & Kendra used the Yield on Adam & Rebecca.

"The HuaXia Bank Tower is 40 stories high — but someone has to was it!!!!"

The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock must wash a window on the exterior of the HuaXia Bank Tower, 40 stories above the ground. Washing the window would reveal a hidden message, "tai chi". They would then have to lower themselves to the ground and report it to the supervisor, who would hand them their next clue if correct.

The Roadblock performers per team are underlined:

Teams must make their way to the Monument to the People's Heroes. Once there, they would have to find a group of tai chi performers on The Bund and search for one of four masters holding their next clue.

Teams must use a provided map to navigate their cab driver to the end of Jiangpu Road, where they will find their next clue.

Choice A: Bricks
Teams must use a traditional device to transport 300 clay bricks off a barge while balancing on a narrow wooden plank. From there, they had to stack the bricks on a wooden pallet to receive their next clue.

All teams completed this task.

Choice B: Ice
Teams must load two 220-pound blocks of ice onto the back of flatbed tricycles and deliver them to a fish market four blocks away. Once there, they would have to break them into smaller pieces and place them into a tub to receive the next clue.

None of the teams completed this task.

Team must find the Peace Hotel South and head to the rooftop to check in.

For coming in first, Hayden & Aaron won a vacation to Hawaii, courtesy of American Airlines.

For coming in last, Adam & Rebecca would have to surrender all of their money, and they would not receive any money at the start of the next leg.
