The order of departure from the Fountain of Joy are as follows:

Teams must fly to Varanasi, India. Upon arrival, teams must travel by taxi or tuk tuk to a tonga stand to find their next clue.

The team member assigned to perform the Roadblock would have to search the streets near the tonga stand for six different sadhus, using a series of photographs for reference, who will give out one of six pieces of a phrase described as "the meaning of life": "Once you're over the hill you pick up speed". Once the racer has all six fragments of the phrase, they would have to provide the phrase to a seventh sadhu who will give them their next clue.

Teams must travel by taxi or tuk tuk to Tulsi Ghat and find the Swaminath Akhara, a wrestling and strengthening club, and find the strongman to find their next clue.

Choice A: Feed the Fire
Teams would have to travel down the Ganges to Sakka Ghat to the home of a milkman where they have to make 50 traditional fuel patties made from water buffalo manure and then slap them against a wall to allow them to dry. When the supervisor is satisfied with their work, teams have to light a stove with dried fuel patties to boil milk for local children to receive their clue.

Gary & Mallory, Kent & Vyxsin, and Kisha & Jen chose this task.

Choice B: Feed the Buffalo
Teams would have to cross the Ganges to collect two bales of hay, which are to be delivered to the addresses attached to them. The teams are then required to return over the Ganges to Ksameshwar Ghat, where they have to locate the address to which they are to deliver the hay. Upon completing their delivery, they will receive their next clue.

Flight Time & Big Easy, Jet & Cord, Ron & Christina, and Zev & Justin chose this task.

Teams must cross the Ganges to travel to Ramnagar Fort in Ramnagar to check in. For coming in first place, Flight Time & Big Easy won a trip for two to Hawaii, provided by Travelocity.
