The order of departure from City Hall Square are as follows:

1. Ida & Tania (2:00 pm)
2. Vince & Sam (2:17 pm)

6. Geoff & Tisha (3:54 pm)

Teams must drive to New Sogo Department Store and find the Sony Style Store, where they must search among thousands of Blu-ray discs for one containing the correct message to receive their next clue. Mai & Oliver were unable to complete the task due to hours of operation, and were simply handed their next clue.

The Fast Forward instructions were given to teams after receiving their clue at New Sogo Department Store. Teams must travel to Kevin's Tattoo, where they must have a permanent tattoo drawn on their bodies to win the Fast Forward. Vince & Sam won the Fast Forward.

Teams must drive to Pingsi Coal Mine in Taipei County, Taiwan Province, to find their next clue.

"Can you dig it?"

The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock must dig through hundreds of kilos of coal in a mine cart for a souvenir, a small silver token, to receive their next clue. The Roadblock performers per team are underlined:

• Geoff & Tisha
• Henry & Bernie
• Ida & Tania

Mai & Oliver fell too far behind the other teams and were eliminated en route to Pingsi Coal Mine.

Choice A: Pick
Teams must drive to Wan Nian Building in Taipei and retrieve three stuffed toys from a claw crane to receive their next clue

A.D. & Fuzzie, Geoff & Tisha, and Henry & Bernie chose this task.

Choice B: Pail
Teams must drive to Grand Tong Temple in Taipei and collect a rod and bucket from the water station, fill the bucket with water, and deliver it to a monk at the top of the mountain. If they had enough water in their bucket, the monk would give them their next clue.

Only Ida & Tania chose this task.

Mai & Oliver fell too far behind the other teams and were eliminated en route to Pingsi Coal Mine.

Teams must drive to Taipei Astronomical Museum to check in. For coming in first place, Vince & Sam won a three-day, two night trip to Ko Samui, Thailand from Singha.
