Zev Glassenberg and Justin Kanew are a team of Friends on The Amazing Race 15 and a team of Best Friends on The Amazing Race: Unfinished Business.

In Season 15, they were easily the most popular team at the outset of the season, and they dominated the airtime for the first three episodes. Things seemed to be going great for them during the fourth leg, they got a great cab driver, and, despite Zev struggling through the monkey mimicking Roadblock, they managed to hit the Pit Stop first. However, they quickly discovered they were missing Zev's passport, and as they could not locate it before all the other teams checked in, they were disqualified from the Race in 9th place.

Their massive popularity and heartbreaking elimination got them invited back for Unfinished Business. Despite coming in with the lowest previous finish of any returning team, they won the most legs: 4 of them. However, they were a very "all or nothing" team. Save for one leg in India, they were either leading the pack or scraping along at the back, barely avoiding elimination. They were also the worst perpetrators of the answer-sharing that plagued the season, as they unabashedly gave Flight Time & Big Easy answers to tasks and other info, all but dragging the Globetrotters into the top 4. Their luck finally ran out in Brazil, where the entire penultimate leg served was humiliating for them, and they settled for 4th place.

Zev and Justin's friendship started six years ago when they were working as camp counselors and the two have been very close ever since. Zev has Asperger's Syndrome, but they don't let it affect their relationship. They share friends and interests, and the friendship is as mutually beneficial as any could be.

Zev is an avid sports fan — especially basketball — and he has an intense competitive spirit. He describes himself as funny, modest, and loyal, and is running the Race to prove to himself that he can do anything.

Justin prides himself on his patience and his ability to problem solve. He admits the biggest difference between he and his partner is that Zev is not great in large groups of people — one of the characteristics of Asperger's — while Justin is very easy-going and can assimilate himself into any group.

Outside of the occasional trip to Vegas (where Justin took Zev to lose his virginity), neither has traveled extensively, particularly with one another. Their relationship is spontaneous and unedited and resembles one of brothers more than friends.[1]
